A piano teacher and accompanist with a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Piano Performance. Over 39 years of experience in teaching classical piano. Having an exceptional ability to relate to young people, past students have won major music competitions, including the opportunity to perform with symphonies, and acceptance into major conservatories and fine arts colleges of major universities. Accompanist to young pianists, violinists and cellists as well as choirs and operas. Have accompanied artists in recitals and competitions in such fine venues as the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles Music Center, Colburn School of Performing Arts, and Thousand Oaks Civic Center. Extensive knowledge of piano, violin, and cello concerto and solo repertoire. Judge for local and state competitions and evaluations. With a degree in education, have taught in private schools, exciting students with eurhythmics, percussion orchestras, vocal, recorder and handbell choir, and musical presentations.

Private Piano Teacher, Los Angeles, CA; Cleveland Ohio 1973-present
Taught children from ages 4 through 18 in my home. Prepared students for annual certification tests (theory tests, sight-reading, technique, and performance requirements), competitions and recitals. Students annually received top awards, performed solos with symphonies, and were selected by audition to perform in public recitals and in chamber groups. Students were invited to perform in televised and radio broadcast programs.

Private Accompanist, Los Angeles, CA; Cleveland Ohio 1971-present
Active accompanist for students of Oberlin Conservatory, Cleveland Institute of Music and Rice University, as well as freelance accompanist for local string and piano studios. Accompany cello, violin and piano students in competition, recital, workshop, and certification programs. Was the accompanist for the UCLA Women’s Choral Society, The UCLA Opera Workshop, Colburn School of Music as well as The USC-Idyllwild School of Music Summer Program.
