Independent Music Teacher (Atlanta GA)

Primary work has involved a home-based studio in which Ms. Evans has developed and managed all aspects of the educational program and taught piano to a group of twenty-two to thirty-eight students of all ages and levels, including those with special needs. The population has varied annually, but many students have studied for over ten years. Activities have included public recitals as well as participation in annual examinations offered by the National Guild of Piano Teachers.

In addition to the private studio, employment has included working as a pianist as well as a singer in area churches. Current employer is Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church (alto section leader and soloist).

Independent Music Teacher (Stuart FL)

Teacher created and managed a studio teaching piano and voice. Students performed in charity events and on annual recitals. The teacher was active as a performer as well as a founding member of the Stuart Music Teachers Association.
