Biography

Marina Rogozhina holds Master and Doctoral Degrees from renowned Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in Kiev, Ukraine. After completing her studies, she began teaching at Lysenko Specialized School for Gifted Children as well as at The National Academy of Music of Ukraine.​

After having moved to the United States, Marina opened one of a kind private home studio in Mount Kisco, NY where she provides instruction in piano, music theory, music history and ear training.

Mrs. Rogozhina is proud that many of her students have become truly accomplished musicians. Some of them have won music contests and competitions, have already performed in the US and Europe in a variety of concert venues and have taken part in international music festivals. Just recently, several of her students were admitted to the prestigious undergraduate and graduate programs.​

Mrs. Rogozhina extensively performs solo and chamber music recitals in Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic, Belgium and The Netherlands. Her concert engagements in the US include recitals at Weill Recital Hall, LeFrak Concert Hall, Donnel Library, Tenri Cultural Institute, Cooper Union Concert Hall, Hunter Music Festival and Manhattan Virtuosi Concert Series.​

Mrs. Rogozhina is a faculty member at the Westchester Conservatory of Music in White Plains, NY.
