I believe that students of all ages and backgrounds can benefit from music education and piano instruction. Music education is a valuable tool in fostering a positive self-image, as composing and performing are very satisfying and rewarding activities. Music can be used to foster creativity and allows for a positive way to express your identity and emotions. Additionally, music can also provide knowledge and understanding of differences: allowing one to appreciate the diversity of music throughout the world and to recognize the value of the myriad of musical traditions and styles.

I have a passion for music education, and am not only an accomplished pianist but also an excellent teacher. I cater my teaching style to the learning preferences of each individual student, and have experience working with all ages.

No matter your individual musical goals, whether you desire to play only for your own enjoyment or if you desire to build a future career in music, Allison Norton will help you to identify clear goals that will enable you to succeed as a musician.
